Relocation of Institut Raymond-Dewar’s programs for hearing impaired individuals

The CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal has announced that its “deaf and deafness” programs offered at Institut Raymond-Dewar (IRD) will be moving in 2018.

The new offices will be located at 3800 Radisson street, near the Radisson metro station. The same services will be offered. The primary care team will be there to welcome you, and technical aid services will also be on site.

Why

With the implementation of the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de l’Île-de-Montréal, the facilities and services have had to be reorganized and the IRD has been integrated. Because IRD does not own the building where it is currently located, the institute has to move. The site at 3800 Radisson was chosen, following consultations, because of its proximity to the metro and to ensure the safety of clients. The other IRD programs will be offered at the Lucie-Bruneau centre, located at 2275 Laurier avenue east; they include the programs for hearing impaired individuals with hearing disabilities, as well as the cochlear implant clinic and language deficiency programs.
