The Cancer Information Service Is There to Help!

Cancer can be difficult to understand and the cause of stress, worries and concerns. It’s reassuring to know that you can talk to someone you can trust to get up-to-date, reliable information.

The Canadian Cancer Society’s Cancer Information Service can answer your questions and provide support.

The Service is free and available in French and English to cancer patients, caregivers, families and friends, the general public and healthcare professionals.

The Cancer Information Service offers information on:

  • cancer treatment and side effects,
  • clinical trials,
  • coping with cancer,
  • emotional support services,
  • prevention,
  • help in the community, and
  • complementary therapies.
