Bites and scratches: Beware of rabies!

Have a healthy summer!

Sometimes all it takes are simple tips to prevent health problems.

Baby raccoon, big dog, little kitten... they’re all so cute! But don’t risk catching rabies. If an animal who has rabies bites or scratches you, or if you touch its saliva, the risk is high.

Never touch animals you don’t know, and stay far away from them. If there is contact with a wild animal or a pet you don’t know, wash your hands with soap and water.
