Exceptional road closures on the Highway 13 and 40 interchange in Montreal
Road users are advised to plan alternative routes for travel the weekend of January 31.
The Ministère des Transports would like to advise road users that exceptional road closures will be in effect on the interchange for Highway 13 and Highway 40 during the weekend of January 31. Highway 40 and its service lanes in this area must be completely closed in both directions for the entire weekend for the dismantling of the overpass on Highway 13 southbound.
Traffic hindrances and management
Highway 13 southbound
- Complete closure between Exit 6 – A-40 / Québec / Ottawa / Gatineau and the on-ramp from Highway 40 eastbound, from Friday, January 31, 11:00 p.m. to Monday, February 3, 5:00 a.m.
Highway 40 and service roads in both directions
- Complete closure in the interchange sector, from Friday, January 31, 11:00 p.m. to Monday, February 3, 5:00 a.m.
This work may be postponed or cancelled due to poor weather conditions or operational constraints.
