In Montreal, there is always a special event going on! These events can affect traffic and sometimes restrict access to health care facilities, for both users and staff. Emergency vehicles will have unrestricted access at all times.
The Grande marche du Défi Pierre Lavoie will take place on October 18, 19 and 20 in many cities across the province. The event is free and open to everyone. The main goal of this event is to create a culture of preventive health in Québec, by getting people to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. With friends, family members or their family doctor, walkers complete a 5-km loop in participating cities and towns.
