Program to assess and reduce the risk of impaired driving (PERRCCA)

Have you been arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and your licence has been suspended?

Have you received a letter from the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) asking you to undergo an assessment by a professional?

COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently afflicting Québec, the services provided by the Program to assess and reduce the risk of impaired driving (PERRCCA) have been interrupted until further notice.

In the meantime, you can send in your payment and completed registration form, and we will process your request.

Once activities resume, all drivers who have registered or who had started the evaluation process will be contacted to book an appointment for the evaluation.

If you have any questions, please contact Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec au 1 800 361-7620

Thank you for your understanding,
PERRCCA provincial coordination centre

The assessment will enable the SAAQ to determine if you can keep your driver’s licence or if you need to get a new one.

The Program to Assess and Reduce the Risk of Impaired Driving (PERRCCA) is designed for drivers who have been arrested for or convicted once or several times of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The program is part of an agreement between the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec and CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

How to register for the program?

You must send the PERRCCA registration form and your payment by mail.

For more information, go to the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
